An erotic romance with domination and threesomes. The story is told very believably and heartfelt. It is not just a smooth ride in the book and that adds a lot to the story. A well written, captivating story.

This is a book that started a new series back in the 1990's. I intend to get the rest of the books that followed this one.

An I.important amd timely read. The author uses her unique experiences to provide helpful advice on how to bridge the racial divide. I especially appreciate the grace with which she writes.

Yours Truly, Thomas

I chose this because it was a staff pick and I wasn't disappointed. Penny finds love letters from her father to her mother, but doesn't get the chance to read them. Her father explains there are many types of love and we see that throughout the book. After her father dies, Penny feels her mother doesn't love her. Penny has to go to work after the death of her father. She works in the dead letter officer reading misdirected letters in an attempt to find the intended recipient. One letter touches her heart, making her long for true love. My only complaint with the book was it was set in the late 1800s and the dialogue seemed too modern for the time frame. Otherwise it was a great book.

Wow! I’ve seen the movie many times, but the book is soooo much more detailed. The descriptive narrative is absolutely beautiful, and makes it easy to imagine.

Little Fires Everywhere

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng was a very captivating story. The underlying themes of motherhood and a pre-planned society were very interesting to read about. This book taught me that sometimes it is good to be spontaneous and not live a "perfect life" like Mrs. Richardson aspired to do.

Serpentine Jonathan Kellerman

Classic Deleware, Sturgis story. The way that the two main characters are always bouncing all the different scenarios that could possibly happen off each other makes it very difficult to figure out who done it.

A good story but very predictable. It does have some explicit sex scenes so it may not be great for everyone. It was good but not good enough for me to want to read the second book.
